MAHINDA RAJAPAKSA
KNOW YE that by virtue of the powers vested in me by paragraph (3A) of Article 31 of the Constitution of the Democratic
Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, I, Mahinda Rajapaksa, President, do by this Proclamation, hereby declare my intention of
appealing to the People for a mandate to hold office, by election, for a further term.
Given at Colombo on the 20th day of November in the year Two Thousand and Fourteen.
